Even though it was 20 years ago, I still remember being carried in thaththis back and being on ammis lap. I can still remember all of the love and sacrifice you gave me when I was a tiny boy.

I remember being soooo happy to see thaththi come back from work so I can hug him so tight.

Thinking back to my childhood, I was given everything I could ever ask for. You both taught me to treat others well and be happy.

I thought this was normal for parents to show so much love. But it is definitely not. You are both the most special parents in this world and I am so lucky to be born with you.

Thaththi sacrificed soooo much time, money, energy to give me the best ever experience that I cannot get anywhere else. THANK YOU

All the international trips, trainings, playing in home, car journeys, I am so happy to have this experience that no one else has. Win or lose, this is life experience that thaththi gave to me and I am so grateful. No amount of money can every buy this experience that I had.

Ammi is the reason I am here, why I am in Cambridge, why I go to school, why I can read, write, talk well, and can be proud of my education. My parents are sooo talented...

I remember EVERY SINGLE DAY ammi drops me off to school, to badminton, picks me up whenever no matter how busy. Always giving me priority and sacrificing her time and energy. THANK YOU.

Ammi does one million things every day in the house. Even when people don't realise, dont appreciate, she still does it every day. This is why our family lives so well at home.

In this entire world I can be proud that no one works as hard as my father! He is the reason me, akki and malli have everything we can ask for.

All my favourite memories contain ammi and thaththi. Because they are the ones closest to me.

I took so much for granted. Because I never saw how other parents were treating their children. Now I can realise how special and lucky I am. I can understand why you made all of these sacrifices

I remember thaththi working with his laptop in the car going to tournaments. Working 2,3 jobs, all day, everyday. Sacrificing all of his time and money for me. Because thaththi is the least selfish person in this entire world and I am very proud to say this. Because of him, I have all of these opportunities.

Ammi and thaththi taught me to be kind, caring respectful. To think about others. To be humble and honest.

Thaththi showed me to never give up. He taught me to set target and never stop until reaching it. He showed me that anything is possible, and whenever I struggle with something or fail, I can think of my thaththi as inspiration to hold my head high again and try again.

Ammi taught me to always do kind things for people you love. Always think about others and care for people. To work hard and use talent for good.Both parents raised me to be successful and a good person, and every success I will have is because of them.

These aren't just memories. They're proof of who you are.

Someday, I will grow up very old. Maybe I will have lots of money, lots of success. But I know whenever I achieve anything, I will think of ammi and thaththi. Because they are the reason for everything. I promise to always take care of them and make sure they are happy until someday they will have a very special place in heaven.

I spent so long trying to be enough — as if I had to earn your love. I know now you loved me long before any grade, any medal or any result. You loved me from when I was in your tummy and didn't know how to walk, and still love me the same now.
